Introduction to sawdust dryer
Sawdust dryer refers to continuously adding wet sawdust in the form of powder particles into a drying tube using a screw conveyor. In the transportation and dispersion of high-speed hot air flow, the process of evaporating the moisture in wet materials to obtain powdered or granular dried products. Mainly composed of air heater, feeder, airflow drying pipe, cyclone separator, fan, etc.
Characteristics of sawdust dryer
1. The drying intensity is high, and due to the high dispersion of the material in the airflow, the total surface area of the particles is effectively dried.
2. The airflow dryer has a simple structure, small footprint, and is easy to build and maintain.
3. Large processing capacity and high thermal efficiency. When drying non bound water, the thermal efficiency can reach 60%.
Scope of application of sawdust dryer
Airflow sawdust dryer is widely used in industries such as straw pellet fuel, charcoal machinery, wood pellet fuel, sawdust pellet, agricultural and animal husbandry engineering. Drying agricultural cellulose materials such as corn stalks, soybean stalks, cotton stalks, wheat stalks, sorghum stalks, sawdust, shavings, sawdust, ginkgo leaves, mulberry leaves, etc.
Workflow of sawdust dryer
The sawdust dryer equipment mainly includes a heating furnace, a feeding port, a rotating drum, a filtering drum, a material conveying pipe, a cooling drum, and a discharging port. The rotating drum is located on the active roller, which is driven to rotate at low speed by a motor and a deceleration transmission. There is a feeding port between the heating furnace and the rotating drum, and there are stir frying blades inside the rotating drum. The rotating drum and the filtering drum are connected. There is a baffle at the connection point, with a small hole on the baffle. One end of the filter cylinder is connected to the rotating cylinder, and the other end is connected to the material conveying pipe. There is a stopper inside the filter cylinder, and the bottom of the filter cylinder has a slag discharge hole. One end of the cooling cylinder is connected to the material conveying pipe through a blower, and the other end is connected to the discharge port.
Due to the design using the aforementioned equipment, the sawdust can be evenly dried in the rotating drum and dispersed again before entering the material conveying pipe. It can quickly evaporate the moisture inside the sawdust, and the stopper set in the rotating drum can effectively clean the impurities inside the sawdust, ensuring the quality of the sawdust when it enters the material conveying pipe. The spray pipe inside the drying area and the rotating cylinder work together to roll and sulfurize the sawdust inside the cylinder, allowing the high-temperature heat seal to fully contact the sawdust before being sent to the discharge port to complete the entire drying process.
